Adventures

Hiking and Kluane National Park
Leaving from the Lodge, there are a number of easy hikes you can take along cross-country trails or river banks. For the more adventurous, there are more demanding routes in the surrounding mountains, which range in altitude from 1,500 to 2,000 metres. Should you so wish, we can arrange for an experienced guide to accompany you. A stay at Tincup Wilderness Lodge can easily be combined with tours of the nearby Kluane National Park. We can arrange flight connections for you from the Lodge.
Canoeing/kayaking/Stand-up padelboard
Why not discover the most beautiful spots dotted around the lake by canoe or kayak? Tincup Lake is 17 km long and up to 2.5 km wide, so there’s plenty to see. Gliding over the water in virtual silence also provides excellent opportunities for observing local wildlife in its natural habitat.
Photography and Wildlife
The fauna and flora surrounding the Lodge offers endless photo opportunities. You have a good chance of seeing eagles, moose, wolves, bears, lynx, caribou, porcupines, mountaingoats and dall-sheeps in their natural environment. The luxuriant moss-floored woodland which begins right behind the Lodge offers myriad delightful perspectives. The fascinating northern lights are visible from mid august.
